We have noticed that there is a significant difference between American students and Europeans students in terms of foreign languages. The majority of European students that we meet speak at least two languages whereas students from the United States only speak English. But hey, for those that only speak one language – no worries, Obama himself speaks only English.
But due to the increasing numbers of way to communicate with each other in the world, Facebook, Twitter – everything that is related to the Internet, we should learn at least one foreign language!
