Since September 2010 I’ve been given the opportunity to intern within
the marketing department in one of the largest trading firms in
Shanghai.
We never know how small we are unless we take the extra step needed to “walk out of the box” and truly expose ourselves to social, educational and professional knowledge. I wish to thank Absolute Internship for offering me this opportunity, for the shared enthusiasm and moral support; it’s a very comforting thing to know there is a group of internationally experienced professionals that can be relied on and that can make the whole adjusting process a lot easier.
Where am I now and what am I up to? I’m carrying out my internship, while discovering Shanghai step by step. I can honestly say that nothing compares to this, everything is so different from anything I’ve experienced so far. And work… well… I’ve been given the responsibilities that I was looking for and my career got a big boost.
